Farhan Ullah is working as an Associate Professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) School of Software in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. He recieved Ph.D. in computer science from the College of Computer Science at Sichuan University in Chengdu, China, in 2020. He supervised several undergraduate, and graduate students. He served as the lead guest editor for the Security and Communication Networks, CMC-Computers, Materials, and Continua and Materials journals. He also served as a guest editor for the Wireless Communication and Mobile Computing (WCMC) and Future Internet Journals special issues. He works as an editor for the KSII Transaction Korean journal. In 2016, He received the Research Productivity Award (RPA) from the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) in Sahiwal, Pakistan. He is an active researcher who collaborates with international experts and professors. His research has been published in a number of prestigious journals, including IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, MDPI, and Hindawi.
Hong-Seng Gan is an Associate Professor at the School of AI and Advanced Computing, XJTLU. His research interests concentrate on medical image computing, deep learning and computer vision. He was the JSPS Research Fellow, Universitas Airlangga Academic Fellow, Main Writer of Malaysia National Robotic Roadmap. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (India), Adjunct Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University (US), Secretary of Academy of Science Malaysia East Coast Chapter (Malaysia) and Senior Member of IEEE. He has received more than 3 Special Awards, 11 Gold Awards and 3 Best Paper Awards from international exhibitions and conferences. He has managed numerous international funds worth more than RMB 9.66 million.
Zhe Guo received her B.S., M.S. and Ph.D degree from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China in 2005, 2008 and 2012, respectively. She is currently an associate professor at the School of Electronics and Information, Northwestern Polytechnical University. Her research interests include image processing, computer vision and pattern recognition. Since 2013, Associate Professor Zhe Guo has been in charge of and lectured in the international classes of "Fundamentals of Multimedia Technology" and "Electronic Measurement". Both courses were awarded the university's Teaching Reform Program, and "Electronic Measurement" was awarded the "First Class Course of the University".

Xiang Li, Associate Professor at School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. His research interests include industrial artificial intelligence, predictive maintenance, machine vision, intelligent fault diagnosis and prognosis, etc. He is the P. I. of many research and industrial application projects. He has published over 70 research papers on journals of IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TIE, IEEE TII, etc., including 21 ESI highly cited papers and 6 ESI hot papers. He is serving as the Associate Editor for Expert Systems with Applications, etc. His citations on Google Scholar are over 6800 with H-index of 38. Cong Jin received the B.E., M.A.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in communication and information systems from the Communication University of China, Beijing, China, in 2010, 2013, and 2021, respectively.She is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Information and Communication Engineering, Communication University of China. She has been presiding over an undertaking of the youth, general, and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, Xiaomi Joint Fund of the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, and National Key Research and Development Projects. She has published a total of more than 30 academic papers in IEEE, Springer, and other international journals and conferences, including more than ten SCI-retrieved journals. Her research interests include Hybrid man-machine performance, reinforcement learning and music AI. Dr. Jin has served as the session chair or a PC member for several major international conferences and as an associate editor or reviewer for several leading journals.
Jing Wang received the Ph.D. degree in communication and information system from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in China in the year 2007. She works as an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Research Institute of Communication Technology (RICT), School of Information and Electronics, BIT. She used to be visiting scholar in the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the Ohio State University (OSU). Her current research is speech and audio signal processing, multimedia communication and virtual reality. She mainly undertakes multiple national and provincial level projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science and Technology Major Projects, Intelligent Manufacturing Project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Beijing Natural Science Foundation. She has authored or coauthored over 60 papers in SCI/EI-indexed publications and obtained more than 10 authorized invention patents. Prof. Wang is currently IEEE Senior Member, AES (Audio Engineering Society) Member, CIC (China Institute of Communications) Senior Member, CIE (Chinese Institute of Electronics) Senior Member, CCF (China Computer Federation) Member, CAAI (Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence) Member and an expert member of Digital Audio and Video Coding Standard Workgroup (AVS) in China. She also actively participates in ITU/MPEG/3GPP international standard organizations and domestic standard groups in the field of multimedia quality evaluation. She was the first drafter of one electronic industry standard, and presides over the research on VR audio national standard.

Wenwu Wang is a Professor in Signal Processing and Machine Learning, and a Co-Director of the Machine Audition Lab within the Centre for Vision Speech and Signal Processing, University of Surrey, UK. He is also an AI Fellow at the Surrey Institute for People Centred Artificial Intelligence. His current research interests include signal processing, machine learning and perception, artificial intelligence, machine audition (listening), and statistical anomaly detection. He has (co)-authored over 300 papers in these areas. He has been involved as Principal or Co-Investigator in more than 30 research projects, funded by UK and EU research councils, and industry (e.g. BBC, NPL, Samsung, Tencent, Huawei, Saab, Atlas, and Kaon) with grant portfolio of over £30M.He is a (co-)recipient of over 15 awards including the 2022 IEEE Signal Processing Society Young Author Best Paper Award, ICAUS 2021 Best Paper Award, DCASE 2020 Judge’s Award, DCASE 2019 and 2020 Reproducible System Award, LVA/ICA 2018 Best Student Paper Award, FSDM 2016 Best Oral Presentation, and Dstl Challenge 2012 Best Solution Award. He is the elected Chair of IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Machine Learning for Signal Processing Technical Committee, the Vice Chair of the EURASIP Technical Area Committee on Acoustic Speech and Music Signal Processing, a Board Member of IEEE SPS Technical Directions Board, an elected Member of the IEEE SPS Signal Processing Theory and Methods Technical Committee, and an elected Member of the International Steering Committee of Latent Variable Analysis and Signal Separation. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio Speech and Language Processing, an Associate Editor for (Nature) Scientific Report, and a Specialty Editor in Chief of Frontier in Signal Processing. He was a Senior Area Editor (2019-2023) and an Associate Editor (2014-2018) for IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. He has been a Satellite Workshop Co-Chair for IEEE ICASSP 2024, a Satellite Workshop Co-Chair for INTERSPEECH 2022, a Publication Co-Chair for IEEE ICASSP 2019, Local Arrangement Co-Chair of IEEE MLSP 2013, and Publicity Co-Chair of IEEE SSP 2009. He has been an invited keynote or plenary speaker on more than 20 international conferences and workshops, and a member of the technical program committee for more than 100 international conferences or workshops.
Dayong Tian has received his B. S. and M. E from Xidian University, in 2010 and 2014, Xi’an, China, respectively. He received his Ph. D. from University of Technology Sydney, NSW, Australia, in 2017. He is currently an assistant professor of Northwestern Polytechnical University. His research interests include image processing, multi-modal data mining and machine learning theories. He has in charge of course “Introduction to Statistical Machine Learning” for international classes since 2019. This course was also funded by the University’s teaching reform program for online teaching researches.
Ying (Gina) Tang is a Full Professor and the Undergraduate Program Chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rowan University, Glassboro, New Jersey. She received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Northeastern University, P. R. China, in 1996 and 1998, respectively, and Ph. D degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2001. Her research interests are in cyber-physical social systems, extended reality, intelligent learning environments, modeling and adaptive control for computer-integrated systems, and sustainable production automation. Her work has been continuously supported by NSF, EPA, US Army, DOT, private foundations, and industry. She has three USA patents, and over 230 peer-reviewed publications, including 77 journal articles, 2 edited books, and 6 book / encyclopedia chapters. Dr. Tang is very active in professional services. She is VP Finance of the IEEE Systems, Man & Cybernetics Society (SMCS). She is the Founding Chair of Technical Committee on Intelligent Solutions to Human-aware Sustainability for IEEE SMCS, and the Founding Chair of Technical Committee on Sustainable Production Automation for IEEE Robotic and Automation Society (RAS). She is the Funding Co-chair of the International Conference on Cyber-physical Social Intelligence. Dr. Tang is presently Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles, IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems, and Springer’s Discover Artificial Intelligence. She is the receipt of the meritorious service award from IEEE SMCS, the Best Student Paper award from 2022 International Conference on Cyber-physical Social Intelligence, the Best Paper award from 2020 IEEE International Conference on Networking, Sensing and Control, the Most Active Technical Committee awards from IEEE SMCS (2021) and IEEE RAS (2020), the Best Paper Finalist from 2017 IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering, National Academy of Engineering Frontier of Engineering Education Fellow, Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Minority Junior Faculty Award, and Charles A. and Anne Morrow Lindbergh Foundation Award.
